Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you (the "Customer") and BeQuery ("BeQuery", "we", "us", or "our"), an Italian company. By creating an account or using the BeQuery platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are using BeQuery on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Service Description
BeQuery is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that:
- —Connects to your MySQL databases using credentials you provide
- —Clones selected tables to an isolated PostgreSQL environment
- —Provides a SQL editor and query interface for analytics
- —Manages team access and collaboration
- —Schedules and executes data synchronisation jobs
The specific features available depend on your subscription plan. We reserve the right to modify, improve, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
3. Account Registration and Responsibilities
To use BeQuery, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:
- —Providing accurate and complete registration information
- —Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- —All activities that occur under your account
- —Notifying us immediately at support@bequery.pro of any unauthorised access
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Accounts created on behalf of organisations require an authorised representative.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use BeQuery only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. The following are prohibited:
- ✕Using the platform to process data you do not have the right to access or process
- ✕Attempting to gain unauthorised access to other users' data or to BeQuery's infrastructure
- ✕Uploading or syncing databases containing illegal content
- ✕Using the service to conduct security attacks, port scanning, or penetration testing on third-party systems
- ✕Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of the platform
- ✕Reselling, sublicensing, or creating derivative services based on BeQuery without written permission
- ✕Using automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform beyond the provided API
- ✕Exceeding fair-use limits in a way that degrades service for other users
- ✕Providing false information or impersonating another person or entity
Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
5. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data you connect to, sync through, or store in BeQuery. Specifically:
- —Your MySQL database data belongs to you
- —The cloned PostgreSQL data belongs to you
- —Your saved queries and query history belong to you
You grant BeQuery a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the service. We do not claim ownership of your data, and we do not use it for any purpose other than operating the platform.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to connect and process the databases you use with BeQuery, including compliance with any third-party agreements or data protection obligations.
6. Service Availability
We aim to provide a highly available platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible.

Downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control (including third-party infrastructure providers, internet disruptions, or force majeure events) does not count toward SLA calculations.
7. Payment and Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

- —VAT is charged where required by Italian and EU tax law
- —Failed payments may result in service suspension after a 7-day grace period
- —You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
- —We do not offer refunds for partial months, except where required by applicable law
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect the current billing period.
8. Intellectual Property
BeQuery and all its components — including the platform software, design, trademarks, logos, and documentation — are the exclusive intellectual property of BeQuery and are protected by Italian and EU intellectual property law.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use BeQuery's name, logo, or trademarks without prior written consent.
Any feedback, suggestions, or improvements you provide may be used by us without obligation or compensation to you.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- —BeQuery provides the service "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
- —We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements
- —BeQuery shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- —Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amounts paid by you to BeQuery in the 12 months preceding the claim
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Italian or EU mandatory law.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time:
- —You may cancel your account from the dashboard at any time
- —We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms with 14 days' notice, or immediately in cases of serious violations
- —We may discontinue the service entirely with 60 days' notice
Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. You will have 30 days to export your data. After this period, all your data will be permanently deleted from our systems, except where retention is required by law.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, and subject to applicable EU regulations including the GDPR.
For disputes with consumers, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence within the EU, which these Terms do not override.
We encourage you to contact us first at info@bequery.pro to resolve disputes informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of Italy. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the law, our business, or the service. For material changes, we will notify you by email or prominent notice within the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
